Pricing / Three plans, one yearly price

You pay once a year, and the price stays the price.

Dustjacket has three plans. Each is a flat fee for twelve months. Pick the one that matches how many recordings you handle in a month. If your needs change, you can move to a different plan when your year is up.

Sec. 04 / Billing, plainly

what you are charged, and when

One charge, once a year. Here is how it reads on your receipt.

Fig. 01 — A yearly receipt, sample data
Q.01what exactly am i billed for?

The price of the plan you chose, once, for twelve months: $139 for Sketch, $279 for Storyboard or $510 for Studio. There are no per-clip charges and no add-on fees on top.

Q.02when is the money taken?

When you choose a plan, and then once a year on the same date. We email a receipt each time, and a reminder before your renewal date so it never catches you out.

Q.03how do i cancel?

Open Settings in your workspace and choose Billing, then switch off renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the twelve months you paid for, and your original recordings stay downloadable. You can also write to hi@dustjacketlabs.com and we will do it for you.

Q.04what happens if i go over my uploads?

Sketch allows 5 source uploads a month and Storyboard allows 30. If you reach the limit, existing work is untouched and the next upload waits for the new month, or you can move up a plan when your year renews. You are never charged extra automatically.

Q.05can i change plans later?

Yes, when your year renews you can choose a different plan. If you think you need to change sooner, write to hi@dustjacketlabs.com and tell us what you need.

Sec. 05 / Your next step

pick a plan and put that old recording to work.

Nothing is published until you approve it, and your original file is always kept exactly as you recorded it.
